Miley Cyrus has been cast in Dolly Parton's upcoming movie Mountain Magic Christmas.On Monday NBC revealed that the 29-year-old pop star will be joining her godmother, 76, on the small screen this holiday season.Dolly Parton’s Mountain Magic Christmas was first announced in May, and now has a full ensemble.

The film has been described as 'a modern-day movie musical about the making of a network TV special.'It will portray the behind-the-scenes trajectory of Dolly's 'desire to uplift an exhausted world's spirits by sharing the unique "mountain magic" she has always found in and around Dollywood at Christmas.'
