Miley Cyrus was left sobbing as she introduced her new dog to the family on Sunday. The singer, 28, recently mourned the loss of her furry friend Mary Janewho died after a battle with cancer.

Almost two months later, Miley has introduced her new love, rescue pit bull Angel, to the world. The Wrecking Ball hitmaker claimed her cuddly new companion was "delivered" to her by the spirit of Mary Jane.

She explained in her caption she chose Angel's name as a tribute to her late pup, who was by her side for close to a decade.

Miley, who was reduced to happy tears in her snaps, also revealed she can feel the spirit of her late pooch when she spends time with Angel.
