Miley Cyrus appears to be extending her summer vacation with even more new music. The 30-year-old “We Can’t Stop” hitmaker conquered the charts with her new album Endless Summer Vacation and its lead single “Flowers” earlier this year.
Now, she is seemingly gearing up for another release. Fans noticed that posters for a mysterious new project from the star are popping up, and they are teasing what many believe is a new song called “Used to Be Young.” Based on what we’re seeing so far, it looks like whatever Miley has in store will be referencing some of her prior hits! They feature a glam new photo of the pop star and some lyrical references. “I came in like a wrecking ball,” one poster reads, clearly a reference to her chart-topping single “Wrecking Ball.” The second reads “I say I used to be young,” which is seemingly a reference to the new title.
It also could harken back to her album Younger Now. Another set of posters are circulating online and feature a different photo of Miley and one extra line – “I hopped off the plane at LAX.” This, of course, is a reference to “Party in the USA.” Miley also teased a song seemingly called “Used to Be Young” while speaking with British Vogue back in May.
