Here, a look at some of the stars that shape Miley’s musical universe.In a cross-generational collaboration of our dreams, Nicks joined Cyrus for the “Edge of Midnight (Midnight Sky Remix).” Mashing up Cyrus’ “Midnight Sky” — the first single from “Plastic Hearts” — and Nicks’ 1981 classic “Edge of Seventeen,” the remix is a delight of white-winged doves.

Of course, anyone with ears could already tell that Cyrus was nicking off Nicks when “Midnight Sky” came out in August.It was clear that Cyrus couldn’t be tamed when she began covering both Jett and her old band, the Runaways.
