Mikel Arteta has told Nicolas Pepe he needs to find more consistency, if he is to threaten for a place in Arsenal ’s regular starting line-up.
Despite signing for more than £70million last summer, the Frenchman has struggled to hold down a regular place, particularly under Arteta this season.
Pepe netted his third goal of the season in the 4-1 Europa League win over Molde, also registering an assist. But the Gunners boss has suggested that he is making “higher demands” of his players and Pepe needs to find more, if he is to break into the starting XI in the Premier League.
