Bill Gates and his wife Melinda have announced their plans to divorce after 27 years of marriage.The 65 year old Microsoft founder shared a statement on his official Twitter account Monday 3 May to share the news.

Bill and Melinda wrote: “After a great deal of though and a lot of work on our relationship, we have made the decision to end our marriage. “Over that last 27 tears, we have raised three incredible children and built a foundation that works all over the world to enable people to lead healthy, productive lives.
