I was so curious to see the kind of grownup that she had become and was oh-so-pleasantly surprised in a way.'I Am Sam stars Sean Penn as the title character, an intellectually disabled man who is forced to take over parenting duties of his daughter (Dakota) after her mother — a homeless woman that he had a brief relationship with — abandons her.
