Michelle Keegan has issued a message to fans and said 'for the record' after an announcement was made about her TV future. It was confirmed that the actress will soon be saying goodbye as hit Sky comedy show Brassic is coming to an end with a final seventh season.
The popular show's creators have said that they want to "stop while we are still riding high" and that the series currently being filmed will be the last.
With a cast led by Joseph 'Joe' Gilgun and MichelleKeegan, the series follows a group of cash-strapped working-class friends living in the fictional village of Hawley.
Joe, known for Preacher and Misfits, created the show with Shameless writer Danny Brocklehurst. Danny said of Brassic coming to an end: "When Joe Gilgun and I sat down to create Brassic, we couldn’t have imagined, in our wildest dreams, that we would do seven series and gather such a loyal and loving fan base. "It’s been a complete joy to create this eccentric world, but all good things must come to an end, and we want to stop while we are still riding high.
