Michelle Keegan was seemingly left taken by surprise as she ditched Mark Wright and enjoyed a dance with another famous face while debuting a new look at the National Television Awards.

The actress was among the famous faces who descended on the capital for the star-studded event at London's 02 Arena on Wednesday (September 11) and she had three opportunities to take home silverware on the night.

Sky comedy Brassic, in which Michelle plays one of the lead character's Erin Croft, was nominated for the comedy category but lost out to Mrs Brown's Boys.

She was also nominated for drama performance for her role in Fool Me Once while the hit Netflix series was also up for new drama.
