BT Sport pundit Michael Stewart has hit out at Craig Levein for continuing to pick up a wage from Hearts despite a 50 per cent salary cut.
The ex-manager and director of football followed along with owner Ann Budge 's proposal to halve his wages, as did Austin MacPhee who he now shares the role of sporting director with.
Stewart believes it's not good enough that Levein is still receiving any money from the Tynecastle club as he called on BT colleague Chris Sutton to agree.
Speaking on the Scottish Football Extra From Home programme, Stewart said: "(Craig Levein and Austin MacPhee) deserve to be commended.
