Sir Michael Palin has been gracing our screens for decades, and the actor and comedian is best known for being one of the members of the comedy group Monty Python.
He rose to fame after appearing in the first series of Monty Python's Flying Circus back in 1969. But in the 1980s, Palin set out on a new career path, establishing himself as a TV presenter with an array of travel documentaries, including Around The World In 80 Days With Michael Plain and Pole To Pole With Michael Palin.
Through his travel series, Palin has trekked to some incredible places and the 79-year-old is still embarking on epic journeys.
In his latest series for Channel 5, Michael Palin Into Iraq, the actor has been undertaking a 1,000 mile journey into Iraq, a country he's never visited before.
