The 29-year-old reality regular was filming his MTV show Living The Dream when he felt his "throat close up" and it left him in a panic.
Fearing the worst, Michael enlisted the help of room mate and fellow Love Island star Danny Williams to take him to A&E.
Speaking on his Instagram Story on Monday, he said: "So, as you can tell my voice has gone back to normal, but I’ll give you a little update. "My hay fever was so bad yesterday it was like my throat closed up.
