Michael Beale reveals EIGHT Rangers exit rebuffs as QPR boss insists Wolves move is not a done deal

Former Rangers coach Michael Beale has revealed that he turns down 'seven or eight chances' to leave Ibrox in order to become a manager whilst he was turning heads in Glasgow.

Beale made the trip north from Liverpool to become Steven Gerrard's right-hand man when the Reds legend took his first senior role in management back in 2018.

Unrivalled success followed as Rangers won their first Scottish Premiership in 10 years, making Gerrard and his staff instant heroes at Ibrox for stopping bitter rivals Celtic become the first side to win 10 top-flight titles in a row in Scottish league history.

However, with success came interest from elsewhere, and Gerrard and Beale joined Aston Villa last November. Since then, whilst the Villans have somewhat struggled under Gerrard's guidance, but Beale has carved out a superb career for himself.
