Rangers boss Michael Beale was keen to remain tight-lipped over potential Ibrox arrivals for Nicolas Raskin, Todd Cantwell and Morgan Whittaker this month.
A fee has been agreed with English Championship side Norwich City alongside terms for playmaker Cantwell, who is out of contract at the end of this season, however Beale insisted no player would be unveiled before their clash with St Johnstone as he awaits the deal being finalised.
Swansea City have been vocal about the offers they have fielded from the Scottish Premiership side for Whittaker, with boss Russell Martin stating they had yet to meet the English Championship side's valuation.
When quizzed on Cantwell ahead of the clash with St Johnstone, the Ibrox boss said: "We have spoke a lot about it in the week.
