Michael B. Jordan to Star in & Direct 'The Thomas Crown Affair' Remake

justjared.comMichael B. Jordan has lined up his next big directing project. The 37-year-old Creed star has signed on to direct a remake of The Thomas Crown Affair for Amazon MGM Studios, which will release the film exclusively in theaters worldwide, via Deadline.
He is also set to star in the film as well as produce via his Outlier Society banner alongside Elizabeth Raposo.
This would be the third Thomas Crown Affair movie. The 1999 version starred Pierce Brosnan as the rich playboy who enjoys stealing art for a hobby but meets his match in an insurance investigator (Rene Russo), who quickly fall for each other.
The original 1968 movie starred Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway and was directed by Norman Jewison.
