Liam James Payne (born 29 August 1993) is an English singer and songwriter.
He rose to fame as a member of the boy band One Direction.
Payne made his debut as a singer when he auditioned for the British television series The X Factor in 2008. After being eliminated as a solo performer, he auditioned again in 2010 and was put into a group with four other contestants to form One Direction
Metrolink issues warning over 'full network closure' this weekend

No trams will run across the city region from the start of service on Sunday, around 7am, until 9am. Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) urged commuters to be aware of the 'full network closure', saying no services would run for the two-hour period. A spokesman said: "On Sunday [20 October] there will be a full closure of the tram network from the start of service until 9am.
No trams will operate on any of the lines, and no replacement bus service will be in operation. "Following the closure, it will take some time for services to get back to normal - as trams need to travel to all corners of the network - with a full timetable operating from approximately 10.30am.
