Metrolink trams will run until 1am on Fridays and Saturdays from later this month, transport bosses have announced. Services will run every 20 minutes between midnight and close to 1am, with Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) saying exact departure times would vary depending on the line and stop.
The later-running trams will take to the tracks across the network from September 29. Pre-Covid services saw frequencies of every 12 minutes up to 1am on Metrolink.
