Snow has been forecasted to hit parts of the UK this week, according to Met Office weather maps. It comes after many parts of the UK were hit with unseasonal warm weather where temperatures reached as high as 27C last week.
However, conditions are expected to make a dramatic u-turn as snowfall has been predicted for parts of Scotland and the north of England this weekend.
According to weather maps, snow is expected to hit Scotland at 4am on Sunday, October 15 (indicated by white marks on the weather map).
Far north parts of England, including Northumberland, are also expected to see snowfall at roughly 2cm per hour.
