Hitmaker Shawn delighted fans for eschewing a regular black suit for the event and instead donned a navy coat with a flared burgundy collar that saw him draw comparison's to Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange.
One hilarious meme of the singer said: 'I can't see the differences,' alongside a snap of Benedict in character. Actress Tessa Thompson turned heads in a pale pink off the shoulder gown with a dramatic ruffled train.
However, some social media users couldn't resist likening the star's outfit to cotton candy, joking it had served as her inspiration.
