mirror.co.ukRay Parlour says Arsenal will see through Mesut Ozil's "PR stunt" over Gunnersaurus' wages and ensure that he will never play for the club again.
Ozil stepped in to offer to pay the wages of Gunners employee Jerry Quy, who has played the club's green dinosaur mascot at home matches and club community events for the past 27 years.
Quy was made redundant by the club as part of a series of cost-cutting measures affecting non-playing staff, at the same time as the Gunners were splashing out £45million on midfielder Thomas Partey.
Although Arsenal say that the Gunnersaurus character will remain as part of the Emirates Stadium matchday experience when fans return, they haven't said anything about Quy's future, with Ozil taking to social media
