Kate Aurthur At “SNL50,” Kate McKinnon reprised her popular character Miss Rafferty from her series of Close Encounter sketches, surrounded by the all-star ensemble of Pedro Pascal, Jon Hamm, Woody Harrelson, Aidy Bryant — with Meryl Streep appearing as her mother, also Miss Rafferty.

Miss Rafferty, along with Pascal’s and Harrelson’s characters all recount their abductions, trying to convince their military interrogators, played by Hamm and Bryant.

Miss Rafferty goes into great detail about her “unkempt private area,” as she uses Pascal and Harrelson to demonstrate her abduction.

At that point, Streep’s Miss Rafferty appears, apologizing for her lateness: “My No. 1 turned into a No. 3,” and “us Rafferty gals always attracted the freaks,” which indeed attracts Pascal’s mulleted dirtbag character.
