Memorial event set to take place for man who died in Paisley disturbance

A memorial event is set to take place this weekend in memory of the young man who was killed in a Paisley disturbance. Robert McNally died after being found seriously injured on Maree Road following reports of a incident involving fireworks around 4.15pm on Saturday.

And he will be remembered this Sunday after a group of friends organised a balloon and lantern release.Sharing the event details on Facebook, a close friend has organised the release to take place at 5pm at the football pitches at the top of Brediland Road where people are being invited to “share their respects”.

Tributes have been laid outside a property on Brediland Road where the Paisley Daily Express understands Robert lived. Flowers have been laid on the pavement alongside messages with one reading: “Forever 21 Robert.

You will be sadly missed. Can not believe this has happened.
