Melissa Rivers feels “hurt” by the fact the producers of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel have not reached out to her about the show.

The Amazon Prime Video series is based in part on the career of her late comedian mother, Joan Rivers, and Melissa told Dax Holt and Adam Glyn on their podcast, Hollywood Raw, she’s yet to watch the show as the team behind it failed to contact her regarding the subject mtter. “I’ve never watched the show, and there’s a particular reason… I know it’s based on my mom and Phyllis Diller, a lot of these different women,” she said. “It was still so soon after my mom’s death and so raw to me.
