deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: Bankside Films has boarded international sales rights to Caroline Lindy’s Sundance Midnight movie Your Monster, starring Melissa Barrera (Scream).
In Your Monster, after her life falls apart, softly-spoken actress Laura Franco (Barrera) finds her voice again when she meets a terrifying, yet weirdly charming, monster living in her closet.
Barrera stars with Tommy Dewey (Perry Mason), Meghann Fahy (The White Lotus), Edmund Donovan (Hightown) and Kayla Foster (The Deuce).
The film is a feature debut for filmmaker Caroline Lindy, who directs and also wrote the screenplay. Lindy’s previous short Aspirational Slut received the 2022 SXSW Narrative Shorts Audience Award.
