Mel Gibson has reportedly been axed from his reprising role in Netflix's Chicken Run sequel. The Hollywood actor, 64, will not be taking on the voice of Rocky in the sequel of the 20-year-old animated classic movie, according to film sources who told The Wrap.
Winona, 48, opened up on the alleged comments in a 2010 interview with GQ, saying Mel asked her if she was a Jewish "oven-dodger" at a party they both attended in 1995.
But Mel fiercely denied the claims about alleged homophobic and antisemitic remarks, with his rep denying a story recently retold by the Heather star.
A statement to Variety read: "This is 100% untrue. She lied about it over a decade ago, when she talked to the press, and she's lying about it now." Stranger Things
