Spice Girls icon Mel C has claimed the former girlband were "never asked" to play at Glastonbury Festival. The songstress, 47, made the revelation on a recent podcast after bandmate Emma Bunton previously insisted they were asked along to the event.
In 2019 during an appearance on Zoe Ball's Radio 2 show, Emma shared that the girls were approached by Glasto ahead of their comeback tour.
She said: "We have been asked, we're going to see how this tour goes first." But Mel C doesn't recall this happening. "I can tell you the absolute truth, we've never been approached," she admitted on The Search Engine Podcast.
