Mel Brooks and his son are self-quarantining! The 93-year-old director’s son Max Brooks, 47, took to Twitter on Monday (March 16) to share an important message about staying safe during the coronavirus pandemic. “If I get the coronavirus, I’ll probably be OK, but if I give it to him, he could give it to Carl Reiner, who can give it to Dick Van Dyke,” Max said, as Mel watches behind a glass window. “And before I know it, I’ve wiped out a whole generation of comic legends.
When it comes to coronavirus, I have to think about who I can infect. And so should you.” Max goes on to list good practices to prevent the spread of the virus and says, “Do your part, don’t be a spreader.” Mel then hilariously tells Max to leave – watch below!
