Mel B has revealed that Vernon Kay had an "incredibly close call" during a knife-throwing act on ITV's Game Of Talents. Vernon takes on the role of host in the show, as celebrity guests attempt to uncover secret talents of the public in order to win a cash prize.

Mel B appeared on the show as a guest, where she insists her "heart almost stopped". The Spice Girls star said: “My heart almost stopped because it looked shockingly dangerous and seriously I thought he had an incredibly close call which even he looked a bit taken aback by. "I don’t think he had planned it like that, to be honest, I was all ready to run for help." The singer, also known as Scary Spice, watched in horror as a knife thrower dressed up as Alice in Wonderland's Queen
