She’s a huge advocate of holistic practices, using meditation, acupuncture and yoga to keep a healthy mind and body. And last week the Duchess of Sussex was spotted wearing the latest lifestyle gadget – an anti-stress patch – on her wrist.
Meghan, 42, was pictured near her home in Montecito, California, with one sleeve rolled up showing a NuCalm Biosignal Processing Disc on her left wrist. The £3 patches are said to “provide the resonance and frequencies to ensure a fast-acting, deep, and long-lasting NuCalm experience”.
Royal expert Tessa Dunlop claims the duchess – who recently signed with talent agency William Morris Endeavor – is now focusing on building a “broader wellness brand” and is taking inspiration from Gwyneth Paltrow’s lifestyle brand Goop.
She said: “Meghan’s been hanging out with Gwyneth Paltrow and she’s shifted from acting into this broader wellness area,” Tessa said. “There’s speculation about a possible revamp of Instagram, about Meghan being a brand sponsor for wellness products perhaps. “Even when she and Harry talked about their ventures as film producers, Meghan said they love ‘romcoms’.That’s another area of ‘emotional wellness’ so I think that’s where we can expect to see their brand going.” A day after being photographed, it was reported Meghan’s former lifestyle blog The Tig – her former “passion project” that she pulled the plug on in 2017 – is set to make a comeback.
