Harry was educated at Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College. He spent parts of his gap year in Australia and Lesotho. He then underwent officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a cornet (second lieutenant) into the Blues and Royals, serving temporarily with his brother Prince William, and he completed his training as a troop leader. In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. He returned to Afghanistan for a 20-week deployment in 2012–13 with the Army Air Corps. He left the army in June 2015.

Meghan Markle has addressed the Queen’s death publicly for the first time in a new interview.The Duchess of Sussex, 41, features on the cover of the latest issue of Variety magazine, and spoke to the publication about the passing of the late monarch and the Royal Family’s reaction.

Speaking on how the Royal Family are coping, Meghan said: “In big moments in life, you get a lot of perspective. “It makes you wonder what you want to focus your energy on.

Right now, we feel energized and excited about all of the things we’ve been building toward. “We’re also focused on our foundation.

So much of the work we do includes the philanthropic space.” Meghan also addressed the public reaction to the Queen’s death, as she described the “outpouring of love and support”, and shared that she was “really grateful” to have been with husband Prince Harry during the difficult time.The Duchess praised the Queen, as she called her “a shining example of female leadership”, and spoke of her “deep gratitude” in being able to spend time with the late monarch and get to know her.
