Meghan Markle's wedding speech 'silences shocked pals as she spoke on divorce'

Meghan Markle reportedly left her friends "in shocked silence" when she brought up her past divorce during her speech at her wedding to Prince Harry.

After discussing her past as a previously married woman, the Duchess of Sussex went on to gush over her new husband the Duke of Sussex, 37, as "the one".The 40 year old mum-of-two's wedding reception was a lavish but private affair, with no cameras allowed in to the royal occasion.

But according to authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand, Meghan's speech was both emotional and eye-opening as she said finding love with her prince was "worth the wait".
