However, this request was "vetoed by the Palace for being against their rules," according to Tom. The explosive book also suggests Meghan was "irritated" upon discovering Victoria's wealth surpassed her own.
It stated she was annoyed when she realised the Beckhams had "considerably more wealth" than she did, reports the Mirror. According to Bower, signs of strain in the relationship between the famous families began to surface in 2018.
