Meghan Markle was once left 'distraught' after being advised by a Royal Family aid to avoid wearing certain types of jewellery.
Like most members of the royal family, the Duchess of Sussex uses her clothes and jewellery to send messages and promote causes she’s passionate about.
However, there was one sentimental piece of jewellery, gifted to her by Prince Harry that she was advised not to wear, writes the Mirror.
The piece in question was a 14-carat gold chain by Maya Brenne, which featured M and H charms, believed to cost $300. The necklace was a gift from Harry once their relationship began getting serious, but royal advisers didn't approve of the piece resulting in an uncomfortable phone call which she told friends left her feeling “emotional”.
