The scandal is said to have caused a rift between the pals, who had been close since 2011. Mulroney subsequently spent several years out of the spotlight, but has begun to more reassert herself more publicly in recent months.
The brunette beauty — whose father-in-law is former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney —has shared a snap to her Instagram account this week showing her at a dress fitting ahead of a glamorous event.
