A Royal author has claimed Meghan Markle gave a curt three-word response to the Queen when she offered her advice after joining the Royal Family. The late Monarch is believed to have told Meghan she was "so pleased Harry had at last found love" during a one-to-one-chat soon after the Duchess of Sussex joined the family.Writing in his new book, 'Our King', Robert Jobson said the Queen 'warmly welcomed' Meghan to the family and advised her to turn to Sophie, Countess of Wessex for support, to which Meghan replied: "I've got Harry".Jobson claims the Queen was "surprised" by the remark, reports the Mirror.

The book also goes into further detail of Kate Middleton's feelings about her public walkabout at Windsor with Harry and Meghan following the Queen's death.

He claims Kate Middleton found the Windsor walk “one of the hardest things she’d ever had to do”.The well-wishers gathered at Windsor two days after the Queen died, aged 96.

Whilst the walkabout might have come across as a symbol of unity, following the death of the centrepiece of the monarchy, Mr Jobson claimed that sources told him that wasn’t the case.
