When questioned about a potential return to acting, Meghan Markle gave a candid response. Before becoming the Duchess of Sussex, she had a thriving acting career, most notably playing Rachel Zane in Suits for seven seasons.
However, she stepped away from acting after marrying Prince Harry in 2018. Following their departure from the Royal Family, there has been much speculation about Meghan's future, including rumors of a possible return to Hollywood.
In an interview with Vanity Fair in October 2022, shortly after the Queen's passing, Meghan addressed her former career. "I left Suits right after the 100th episode, in 2018.
I didn't think I'd ever be in the entertainment industry again." She noted the significant changes in the industry, particularly with the rise of streaming services. "But the entire culture has changed; streamers have changed things.The ability to create zeitgeist moments like we had in the '90s - where everyone would tune in at the same time for a show or gather for one moment? - that doesn't happen anymore.", reports the Express.
