Meghan Markle’s Biographer Omid Scobie’s TV Project Is “‘The Crown’ Meets ‘Emily In Paris'” — Report
deadline.comAhead of Meghan Markle‘s lifestyle show with Netflix making its expected debut this year, another project inspired by the Duchess of Sussex’s story is being created, by her tireless biographer Omid Scobie.
The British journalist, who co-penned the biography Finding Freedom about Markle’s entry into exit from British royal life, has relocated to LA while he works on a book and TV project, both called ‘Royal Spin’, the Daily Mail newspaper reports.
The paper quotes insiders saying the writer made the decision to make California his permanent home after securing a deal with Universal for his joint book and TV project.
And it states that Scobie’s story in both bears more than passing familiarity to Markle’s recent trajectory – revolving around a glamorous American publicist who leaves her job in Washington DC to work in London’s Buckingham Palace.
