Prince Harry and Meghan Markle joined forces this week to give a rare joint interview in which they called for an end to “structural racism in Britain.” The married couple spoke to the Evening Standard as part of their campaign for Black History Month. Harry told the outlet that he had an “awakening” to the issues the Black people face after meeting Meghan. “We as white people don’t always have the awareness of what it must be like for someone else of a different colored skin, of a Black skin, to be in the same situation as we are where the world that we know has been created by white people for white people,” he said. Meghan said that the Black Lives Matter movement’s “peaceful protests” are “beautiful.” You can watch the full interview
