Meghan Markle's explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey might be one she lives to regret, according to royal commentators. The Duchess of Sussex didn't hold back in her sit down chat with Oprah but her allegations may have "burnt bridges" at a time when healing may have been a better option.

The interview divided opinion on Meghan and Prince Harry, with some celebrating that they had lifted the lid on the inner workings of the Royal Family, while others have said it was tantamount to treason for being so honest.

Now a new Channel 5 documentary will look in to the rise of Meghan from before she starred in TV drama Suits, to being one of the most influential women in the world.
