Meghan Markle is 'intelligent' and 'wants to control narrative', says author

Revenge author Tom Bower has credited Meghan Markle’s intelligence as the secret behind her success and claims she has used it to control the narrative.

But the former BBC correspondent - who interviewed about 80 sources close to the couple for the bombshell unauthorised biography - admits he is in awe of the power 40-year-old Meghan has managed to levy from relatively humble roots.

In an exclusive interview with OK!, Tom says: “I never deny Meghan’s successes. She’s an intelligent operator who has thrown down the challenge. “She wants to control the narrative.

It will be interesting to see how she copes with the truth, the criticism and the revelations.” Tom’s book sets out to reveal the “truth of who Meghan Markle is” and “what she seeks to achieve from her new and extreme level of power”.
