Meghan Markle’s aunt has claimed that the Duchess has not connected with her since the death of her uncle three months ago. Joseph ‘JJ’ Johnson passed away on 27 August at 72 years old from congestive heart failure, to the devastation of his family including his widow Pam.

Meghan spent part of her childhood raised by Joseph’s mother and her grandmother, Jeanette, and so the pair are believed to have been close at one point.
