Meghan Markle cancels baby shower for unborn daughter as she fears it would be 'inappropriate' in Covid times

The Duchess of Sussex is said to have decided against hosting a baby shower ahead of the birth of her second child with Prince Harry.

Meghan is due to welcome a baby girl with her 36-year-old husband in summer 2021 but feels that in Covid times a celebratory shower isn’t ‘appropriate’.

Previously an advocate of the popular event, the 39-year-old celebrated her first born, Archie’s impending arrival with a luxurious baby shower in New York in May 2019.The $200,000 celebration was arranged by her friend and tennis legend Serena Williams at The Mark hotel in New York.
