It was just revealed that Meghan Markle admitted to passing along personal information to Carolyn Durand and Omid Scobie, the authors of “Finding Freedom”.
In court documents amid her trial against the Mail, the Duchess of Sussex revealed that she allowed a third party to pass along the private information to the two royal insiders.
Her reason being that she was concerned that her father, Thomas Markle‘s claims about her cutting him out of her life, would be repeated. Meghan‘s lawyers, via Town & County, shared that she was “concerned that her father’s narrative in the media that she had abandoned him and had not even tried to contact him (which was false) would be repeated”, and she allowed the information to be revealed.
