A judge will allow attorneys representing Megan Thee Stallion to question Tory Lanez under oath from prison in connection to Megan's ongoing lawsuit against an internet personality named Milagro Cooper.
Megan has accused Cooper of working with Lanez to smear her reputation since Lanez was convicted of three counts of felony assault in the 2020 shooting of Megan and sentenced to 10 years in prison in August 2023.
Meghann Cuniff, the California journalist who gained prominence for her diligent courtroom reporting during the Lanez trial, reported on the new motion on Monday (February 24).
Attorneys for Lanez and Milagro did not oppose the motion, setting it on a easy path for Judge Altonaga's approval. Megan's lawyers will be permitted to obtain the deposition in person at prison or over video conference.
