Megan Thee Stallion addresses alleged Tory Lanez shooting incident on “Shots Fired”

Megan Thee Stallion's debut album Good News is out today, and the rapper offered a scathing rundown of the shooting incident involving her and Tory Lanez on its opening track, "Shots Fired." Back in July, Lanez allegedly shot Meg in both feet, resulting in bullet wounds and requiring stitches.

The track does not mention Lanez's name directly, and samples Notorious B.I.G.'s "Who Shot Ya." Megan's lyrics reveal that the gun Lanez allegedly fired at her was actually loaded with pellets, and mentions she and her friend were both offered money in exchange for silence ("You offered M's not to talk / I guess that made my friend excited,") a detail she also mentioned in her recent GQ cover story.
