Meet the 2021 lineup for Ireland’s Fittest Family 2021

Ireland’s Fittest Families is back for the new year and we’re getting inspired to shift our lockdown and Christmas pounds. 16 families have thrown their hat in the ring to be crowned Ireland’s Fittest Family as they take part in a series of gruelling challenges.

From the Allens to the Thompsons they’ll be put through their paces as they tackle some pretty intense courses. So let’s meet the families. The Allen Family The Tipperary based family is made up of 50-year-old Ticey, 18-year-old Ruth, 17-year-old James and 15-year-old Tom.

Ticey is a full-time farmer, who took up running in his 40s and has completed marathons and elite adventure races. While Ruth is a 100m and 200m county Champion.
