McDonald's issues six weeks notice to all Happy Meal fans

McDonald's bosses have issued a "six weeks" notice to all UK diners who order Happy Meals. Families who dine at the place with the golden arches should now notice a bold change to McDonald's' children's offering.

Happy Meals usually come in bright red boxes that feature a yellow smile on the side, and with yellow handles. But this has now changed, and this will be the case for some six weeks.

The boxes look completely different, as McDonald’s has launched its first partnership with Dr Seuss to "welcome The Grinch to Happy Meal".

Each Happy Meal will include a Grinch toy, or a special edition “Twelve Days of Grinchmas” book. As well as this life-size Grinch characters will be showing up to spread festive cheer across 159 McDonald’s restaurants across the UK, bosses at the fast food giant said.
