MBC Studios & Telfaz11 Strike Partnership Deal To Bolster Saudi Storytelling – Red Sea Film Festival

MBC Studios, the production arm of MBC Group, and buzzy Saudi production company Telfaz11 Studios have announced a partnership deal to co-develop and co-produce multiple projects focused on Saudi storytelling.

Riyad-based Telfaz 11 has enjoyed a string of local feature film hits over the past year, topped by thriller Night Courier (Mandoob) and freestyle wrestling comedy Sattar.

The partners did not give details on their upcoming collaborations but said the partnership envisages multiple projects. Wael Abu Mansour, Head of Telfaz11 Studios, said partnering with MBC Studios would enable it to build on the success of its slate of nine feature films to date. “Our films, such as the record-breaking Sattar and the award-winning Mandoob, have not only achieved remarkable box office success but also demonstrated the power of authentic Saudi stories to captivate and connect,” he said. “Collaborating with MBC Studios allows us to expand on this success, combining our creative vision with their expertise to deliver even more compelling content.

Together, we aim to elevate Saudi storytelling and create a dynamic slate of films and series that entertain, inspire, and resonate with audiences across the region.” Saudi director Hana Al Omair, who is Creative Director at MBC Studios, said the partnership strengthened the group’s commitment to telling local stories.  “It is now more important than ever to tell our own stories.
