Last month, Jeopardy! viewers were getting frustrated with co-host Mayim Bialik. The 46-year-old actress and neurobiologist has been sharing hosting duties with Ken Jennings and during a single episode was overheard saying “Single Jeopardy” to describe the first round of game play.
After hearing about fans criticizing the description, Mayim has responded to them. Click inside to read more… While speaking to Yahoo!, Mayim addressed the issue, saying that she didn’t say anything that wasn’t in the official Jeopardy!
script, and technically, “Single Jeopardy” is not wrong. “I know it may not be the norm, but when I saw that Alex [Trebek, late host] had referred to it, it was not out of the norm.
It was definitely not normative. I will never do it again!” she said. “Even if it’s in this script, I will not say it. People cared a lot.
