coroner confirmed to The Post at the time.Bialik revealed that the cast and crew of the sitcom, “Call Me Kat,” was waiting for him to show up on the day that he died.“We were all at work and waiting for him to show up at work, so it was very, very, very complicated to have the whole crew there and the whole cast,” Bialik, 47, admitted during a Tuesday appearance on “The Jennifer Hudson Show.“She likened the cast to a “family,” especially since it was one of the first shows that began filming again after the COVID-19 pandemic.
The show even paused production after his death. “We were all very close, and people knew Leslie Jordan as Leslie Jordan, not necessarily just as the character that he played on our show,” she said of the late actor.“He’s been in people’s lives, especially during COVID.
He was in people’s Instagram feeds. A lot of people really formed a real connection with him, and he loved that. He loved being approachable.
